Sunway chairman Cheah wins EY award


PETALING JAYA: Sunway Group founder and chairman Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah has been named the winner of this year’s EY Asean Entrepreneurial Excellence Award, which recognises successful South-East Asian businesses that contribute to the economy and community in the region.

Cheah noted that EY is one of the world’s most prestigious accounting and consulting firms, adding that he was humbled to receive the award.

“Sunway Group and the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation share EY’s commitment to building a more progressive and sustainable world,” he said.
