PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Bhd will exit the healthcare business with the sale of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Sdn Bhd (RSDH) for RM5.7bil cash to Columbia Asia Healthcare Sdn Bhd.

Sime Darby’s wholly owned subsidiary, Sime Darby Holdings Bhd (SDHB) and 50:50 venture partner Ramsay Health Care Ltd, own RSDH, which operates four hospitals in Malaysia and three in Indonesia.
