DRB-Hicom set to ride on Proton’s growth


HLIB Research said Proton’s sales target of 310,000 units in 2030 as well as 500,000 units in 2035 is expected to seal its top sales position in Malaysia and place itself among the top three in Asean.

PETALING JAYA: Analysts are positive on DRB-Hicom Bhd’s growth momentum following its 50%-owned Proton Holdings Bhd’s bullish outlook.

Hong Leong Investment Bank (HLIB) Research said Proton’s sales target of 310,000 units in 2030 as well as 500,000 units in 2035 are expected to seal its top sales position in Malaysia and place itself among the top three in Asean.
