KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit rose against the US dollar at the close amid indications from the Federal Reserve (Fed) that there would be no interest rate hikes for the year.
At 6.01 pm, the local note rose to 4.7145/7180 against the greenback from Tuesday’s close of 4.7255/7310.
