Powerwell to buy 55% stake in M Electrical & Engineering


KUALA LUMPUR: Powerwell Holdings Bhd has proposed to acquire a 55% stake in M Electrical & Engineering Sdn Bhd for RM8.25mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Powerwell said its wholly-owned subsidiary Powerwell International Sdn Bhd entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chen Choong Hee with an intention to acquire 550,000 ordinary shares, representing 55% equity interest in the capital of M Electrical & Engineering.
