Cape EMS returns to profit

Cape EMS managing director and chief executive officer Christina Tee Kim Chin.

KUALA LUMPUR: Cape EMS Bhd will prioritise consistent profitability and disciplined execution over the next 12 to 24 months under its strategic transformation roadmap, CEB 2.0.

The Main Market-listed electronic manufacturing services provider posted a net profit of RM7.04mil for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2025, reversing a net loss of RM48.84mil recorded in the same quarter last year.

Managing director and group chief executive officer Christina Tee Kim Chin said the turnaround reflects a fundamental upgrade in the group’s business model.

“We are transitioning from hardware-centric manufacturing towards engineering integration, intelligent manufacturing networks, and clean-energy infrastructure,” she said in a statement yesterday. — Bernama
