South-East Asia a hotspot for Chinese EV makers

Beijing: Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) makers and battery manufacturers are eyeing overseas production to better explore markets, and South-East Asia sits atop the list of destinations.

Analysts said localised production will enable companies to launch products faster and to come up with products that better meet local demands.
