KUALA LUMPUR: Pecca Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pecca Aviation Services Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aero Cabin Solutions SAS (ACS), a French aircraft interior specialist to form a one-stop aircraft solution centre here.

Under the MoU, Pecca Aviation and ACS plan to work together to deliver a range of aircraft interior solutions and related services to serve the Asia-Pacific aviation market.

A key initiative under this MoU is the forming of a one-stop aircraft solution centre based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Pecca said this one-stop centre will supply upholstery seat covers and manage, repair and refurbish aircraft interiors for clients from across the Asia-Pacific, under capabilities approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The centre will also provide storage for aircraft cabin equipment under a consignment stock or storage basis.

In a statement, Pecca executive director Teoh Zi Yi said it had proven capabilities in the production of aircraft upholstery seat covers and other related interior products, while ACS’s core competencies involve the maintenance, reconfiguration and refurbishment of entire aircraft interiors.

“By working together, we will be able to deliver a comprehensive range of services and solutions, driving our value proposition to the aviation market.

“From Pecca’s perspective, the success of this strategic partnership will allow us to further penetrate into the higher-margin aviation upholstery market, and accelerating the revenue growth of the group. This MoU lays a strong foundation for our partnership, and we eagerly look forward to finalising a definitive agreement with ACS,” he added.
