Reservoir Link secures contract from Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd has secured a three-year contract from Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd for the provision of slickline perforation and specialised services.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Reservoir Link said the contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary Reservoir Link Sdn Bhd.

The contract is for a period of three years effective from July 3, 2023 until July 2, 2026.

Reservoir Link expects the contract to contribute positively towards the earnings of the company and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending June 30, 2024 and throughout the contract period.

“We are delighted to see ourselves securing more contracts in 2023 for the oil and gas, as well as the renewable energy segment. This is undoubtedly a reaffirmation of the quality and reliability of the Group’s services in which it is widely known for,” executive director Thien Chiet Chai said.

“Moving forward, we expect the oil and gas sector to continue growing alongside our renewable energy front. We will continue to improve on our existing technologies and enhance our business offerings to ensure we maintain our competitive edge to secure more contracts in 2023.”
