KUALA LUMPUR: S&P Global Ratings expects the United States (US) interest rates to increase further this year, which will keep potential pressure on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets.
APAC chief economist Louis Kuijs said the impact of higher interest rates will be felt more visibly in the second half of the year, resulting in a slowdown for the APAC region, excluding China.
