Bursa Malaysia reverses Monday’s gains to close lower

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia retreated from Monday’s gains to close lower yesterday, despite the upbeat regional market performance ahead of the release of the US consumer price index (CPI) data.

At 5pm, the FBM KLCI eased 6.16 points, or 0.44% to 1,380.61 from Monday’s 1,386.77.
