KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit slipped against the greenback at the opening today as the release of several United States (US) macroeconomic data boosted the US currency.
At 9 am, the local note declined to 4.5445/5480 versus the greenback from yesterday’s closing rate of 4.5365/5395.
