RHB Islamic Bank in financial inclusivity drive


RHB Islamic hopes to provide 1.2 million students from 20 public institutions nationwide with bank services and specially developed RHB debit cards that also serve as matriculation identification cards over the next five years.

PETALING JAYA: RHB Islamic Bank Bhd aims to promote financial inclusivity among Malaysian youths, especially university students, through the Kad Prihatin Siswa Project.

According to RHB Islamic managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Adissadikin Ali, the initiative, in collaboration with the Higher Education Ministry, reinforces their commitment in promoting financial inclusivity.

In its effort to amplify financial inclusivity, Adissadikin said RHB Islamic aims to complete the Kad Prihatin Siswa activation to 20 public universities across Malaysia by May this year.

He continued by saying that over the course of five years, RHB Islamic hopes to provide 1.2 million students from 20 public institutions nationwide with bank services and specially developed RHB debit cards that also serve as matriculation identification cards.

The card also offers students cashless payment methods, exclusive discounts and promotions.
