KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Tuesday could include UMW, KKB Engineering, Powerwell, Reservoir Link Energy, Barakah Offshore Petroleum, Bintai Kinden and Mudajaya, said Apex Research.

UMW Holdings Bhd has secured a second contract worth RM1 billion from British aerospace company Rolls-Royce.

KKB Engineering Bhd received a purchase order contract from Samsung Engineering worth RM111.6 million.

Powerwell Holdings Bhd bagged a purchase order to supply substation equipment for a solar power plant project in Bangladesh worth RM39 million.

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd bag four solar contracts worth a combined RM7.16 million.

Barakah Offshore Petroleum Bhd’s wholly owned PBJV Group Sdn Bhd has had its suspension lifted by Petronas.

Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd is being sued by MBSB Bank Bhd for allegedly defaulting on a RM109 million Islamic financing facility.

Mudajaya secures RM64.1m construction job from Kotra Pharma.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain sideways below the resistance of 1,431 points following the flattish performance on Wall Street.

The US market was flat overnight with the Dow and S&P eking out slight gains while the Nasdaq was slightly lower as investors anticipate key inflation data of CPI and PPI this week.
