KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks with trading interest include Bermaz Auto, Scientex Packaging (Ayer Keroh), Perdana Petroleum, Volcano and SP Setia, said Apex Research.

Bermaz Auto Bhd’s 3QFY23 net profit jumped 114.09% YoY to RM87.29 million.

Scientex Packaging (Ayer Keroh) Bhd saw its 2QFY23 net profit rise 14% YoY to RM13.38 million.

Perdana Petroleum Bhd has secured three charter contracts from its major shareholder Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd worth RM18.3 million.

Volcano Bhd has been issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query after its shares spiked over 23%.

Revenue Group Bhd announced the appointment of five new directors to its board.

S P Setia Bhd announced its final dividend of 1.47 sen per share for financial year ended December 31, 2022, payable on April 20.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could hover above the support of 1,418 points following the mixed performance on Wall Street.

The US market was mixed overnight with the Dow and S&P posting slight losses while the Nasdaq climbed as investors look forward to today’s CPI data.

Earlier, European stocks tumbled following losses in banking stocks despite HSBC buying Silicon Valley Bank’s UK operations.
