Vietnam coffee industry needs sustainable development

HANOI: Vietnam’s coffee industry needs to solve many challenges to achieve sustainable development, targeting an export value of US$6bil (RM27bil) in 2030.

According to Do Ha Nam, vice-chairman of Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association and chairman of Intimex Group, in the 2022-2023 crop, the coffee output is expected to decrease by 10% to 15% on year to 1.47 million tonnes.
