’s (Maybank) 98.54%-owned PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (Maybank Indonesia) posted a pre-tax profit of 2.04 trillion rupiah for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2022 (FY22), down 7.4% from 2.20 trillion rupiah the year before.
The bank said this was mainly due to lower loan yields, following tight competition within the industry, as well as a drop in global markets (GM), bancassurance and wealth management incomes.
