Trading ideas: Farm Fresh, Nexgram, Perdana Petroleum, MISC, Hume Cement Industries, RCE Capital and Revenue Group


KUALA LUMPUR: There could be increased trading interest in the stocks with recent corporate news flow including Farm Fresh, Nexgram, Perdana Petroleum, MISC, Hume Cement Industries, RCE Capital and Revenue Group, said Apex Research.

Farm Fresh Bhd has proposed to acquire a 65% stake in ice cream chain The Inside Scoop Sdn Bhd (TISSB) for RM83.9 million.

Nexgram Holdings Bhd has cancelled a deal with Melaka Corporation (MCorp) pertaining to the purchase of a 10.031-hectare piece of land in the state for RM61.53 million.

Perdana Petroleum Bhd returned to the black with a net profit of RM20.51 million in 4Q22.

MISC Bhd’s net profit rose 39.7% YoY to RM645 million in 4Q22.

Hume Cement Industries Bhd’s net profit declined 41.04% YoY to RM4.47 million for 2QFY23.

RCE Capital Bhd’s net profit climbed 1.37% YoY to RM35.18 million in 3QFY23.

Two EGMs of Revenue Group Bhd scheduled for tomorrow pertaining to the removal of directors, will not be held pending further direction from the High Court

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could take a breather beow the resistance of 1,500 points.

The US market rose overnight after January retail sales data was better than expected.

Similarly, European stocks rose after US retail sales beat estimates.
