Wah Seong gets RM558mil Yinson contract


Wah Seong Corp said the scope of work of the contract involves engineering, procurement and construction of certain FPSO topside modules.

PETALING JAYA: Wah Seong Corp Bhd’s (Wasco) indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, WS Engineering & Fabrication Pte Ltd (WSEF), has been awarded a US$127.1mil (RM557.65mil) contract by Yinson Azalea Production Pte Ltd for the supply of certain floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) topside modules.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Wasco noted the scope of work of the contract involves engineering, procurement and construction of certain FPSO topside modules.

The work and services of the contract are expected to be completed within 24 months. The contract is project-specific and not renewable.
