Vietnam air passengers near pre-pandemic levels

HANOI: The total number of air passengers passing through domestic airports will reach 80% of the peak number of passengers in 2019, says Dinh Viet Thang, director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

Thang said passenger volume through Vietnamese airports reached about 81 million in the 10 months of 2022, with 100 million forecast for the whole year. In 2019, the number was 120 million.
