KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks that could be in the spotlight on Friday include MISC, Pentamaster, Signature International, One Glove, Eonmetall, Industronics and Ireka, said Apex Research.
Apex said in a note MISC Bhd and its consortium partners have secured long-term shipping charter contracts from Qatar state-owned QatarEnergy which is involved in exploration, production, refining, transport and storage.
Pentamaster Corp Bhd’s 3QFY2022 rose 5.6% YoY to RM20.07 million.
Signature International Bhd has claimed that it is set to become Asean's largest kitchen and wardrobe company via acquisitions of Singapore-based Corten Interior Solutions Pte Ltd and Areal Interior Solutions Pte Ltd for RM160.48 million cash.
One Glove Group Bhd has proposed a rights issue to raise up to RM85.2 million.
Mitraland Group founder and chief executive officer Chuah Theong Yee has emerged as a new substantial shareholder of Eonmetall Group Bhd.
Industronics Bhd has entered into an agreement to acquire a 50% stake in 5T3M Sdn Bhd for RM1 million.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCi could trend lower towards the support of 1,408 points following the decline on Wall Street.
The US market tumbled overnight after the Federal Reserve hiked interest rates and showed no sign of slowing down.
Similarly, European stocks declined after the Bank of England raised interest rates.
Investors will be looking at the US' October nonfarm payroll for gauge market direction.
