KUALA LUMPUR: Atlan Holdings Bhd
is acquiring The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate in the UK from Belle Isle Property Ltd for RM57.50mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Atlan said the property comprises a hotel and spa with 65 guest rooms.
“The acquisition presents an opportunity for Atlan to restart its hospitality arm after the cessation of its hospitality operations in Kuala Lumpur in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.”
Atlan said it will also acquire Belle Isle Hotels (Cornwall) Management Ltd, the current management company that has been managing the hotel since 2014.
