MRC to promote halal gloves at Mihas 2022


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) is promoting Made-in-Malaysia halal gloves at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (Mihas) 2022.

This is being done alongside other agricommodity agencies under the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC).

Mihas 2022 runs from today until Saturday and this year’s theme is “Ethical Consumption.”

In a statement yesterday, MRC said the agricommodity sectors is showcasing the development and production of quality, as well as competitive, products in sustainable ways that coincide with the halal concept.

“Among the products that MRC will be promoting under the halal gloves category are medical gloves, disposable gloves and food handling gloves.

“These all manufactured to comply with stringent and high quality international standards and consistency, and are competitively priced,” it said.

MRC chief executive officer Nor Hizwan Ahmad said he is looking forward to the active participation from all exhibitors and trade visitors across the globe at Mihas 2022, to steer initiatives and actions to enhance the global halal economy. — Bernama
