Bintulu Port extends vessel hire contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd's unit Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd has extended its contract with Sin Kiong Hong Dockyard Sdn Bhd for the hire of two 25-tonne ship handling tugs and crew.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the contract valued at RM14.24mil will be for a period of 35 months from May 19, 2022, to May 18, 2025, or until the expiry of the concession period for the group to operate Bintulu Port, whichever comes first.
