FBM KLCI pare gains but still rise over 1,600-level

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI pared gains in the final hour of trading Friday, but remained above the 1,600 psychological level.

At 5pm, the benchmark index added 3.12 points, or 0.2% to 1,600.43. It has risen to an intraday high of 1,605.02. On a weekly basis, the index was 1.54 points lower.
