Real estate leads gains

SHANGHAI: China stocks ended higher for a third consecutive session yesterday, reversing earlier losses, after a flurry of assurances this week by top policymakers pledging more support for the struggling economy.

The Shanghai Composite index ended up 1.12% at 3,251.07 points, while the blue-chip CSI300 index rose 0.67% to 4,265.90.
