Bursa dismisses AirAsia's PN17 appeal


KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Group Bhd’s application to extend the relief period from being classified as a Practice Note 17 (PN17) company has been dismissed by Bursa Malaysia.

The group said an application was submitted to Bursa Malaysia for this relief period to be extended beyond Jan 7, 2022.

“The board of directors wishes to inform that after due consideration of all facts and circumstances including all written representations and documents submitted before Bursa, Bursa has decided to dismiss the appeal,” AirAsia said.

It added that further announcements will be made in due course regarding this matter.
