PETALING JAYA: Infomina Bhd wholly owned Japanese subsidiary Infomina Japan KK has secured a five-year contract worth 855 million yen (RM22.05mil) to supply software licences and support services to Panasonic Digital Co Ltd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Infomina said the contract value excludes consumption tax and will be invoiced in advance before the service period begins.

The contract covers mainframe software subscription licences and support services for the Japan-based company from Sept 1, 2027, to Aug 31, 2032.

“Infomina Japan's role under the contract includes procuring and administering the licence subscriptions, billing, coordination on support and licence changes, and managing licence usage reporting and compliance," it noted.

“The services also encompass assessing and monitoring the software environment of Panasonic Digital to ensure it is updated with the latest relevant supported version.”

Infomina said any renewal of the software subscription will be subject to a new purchase order and order form to be negotiated towards the end of the contract period.
