Bitcoin hits lowest since September

NEW YORK: Bitcoin continued a weeks-long drop yesterday, falling below US$42,000 (RM176,820) to levels not seen since September.

The largest cryptocurrency declined as much as 4.9% to US$41,008, (RM172,644) marking a tumble of about 40% from its record near US$69,000 (RM290,420) reached Nov 10.
