PETALING JAYA: West River Bhd
has secured a RM22.56mil sub-contract for electrical works at a data centre development in the SILC Industrial Area in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
In a statement, the electrical engineering and intelligent building solutions provider said the sub-contract involves electrical works for a consumer landing station (CLS) forming part of the data centre development.
Under the contract, West River will undertake the design, supply, execution, completion, handover and maintenance of the CLS electrical works.
The sub-contract period commenced on June 20, 2026 and is scheduled for completion by Oct 30, 2026.
West River said the award strengthens its involvement in data centre electrical infrastructure and builds on the group’s capabilities in mechanical and electrical engineering.
“Data centre developments require reliable electrical systems, disciplined project coordination and strict adherence to technical and delivery requirements,” it said.
