KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit continued to strengthen against the US dollar at the opening on the final trading day of 2021, although the greenback gained better demand in line with the US Dollar Index (DXY), which rose 0.06 per cent to 95.989 points, an analyst said.
At 9 am, the local note rose to 4.1720/1760 versus the greenback from 4.1750/1785 at Thursday’s close.
