PONSB Capital issues sukuk wakalah

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, DRB-Hicom said the sukuk comprised Islamic commercial papers of RM50mil for six months, as well as two Islamic medium-term notes of RM135mil for five years and RM315mil for seven years, respectively.

PETALING JAYA: PONSB Capital Bhd, DRB-Hicom Bhd’s indirect subsidiary via Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd (PONSB), has made its inaugural issuance of sukuk wakalah amounting to an aggregate of RM500mil in nominal value under its sukuk wakalah programmes.
