Datasonic secures extensions to passport supply contracts


KUALA LUMPUR: Datasonic Group Bhd's unit has received extensions on its contracts for the supply of Malaysian passport chips, documents and polycarbonate biodata pages to the Home Affairs Ministry.

The ICT solutions provider said in a bourse filing that the original three contracts, awarded to Datasonic Group Technologies Sdn Bhd, had been due to expire on Nov 30, 2021, but had been extended for 24 months to Nov 30, 2023.
