Vestland bags RM135mil contract to build nine-storey factory in Selangor


PETALING JAYA: Vestland Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Vestland Resources Sdn Bhd secured a contract from Golden Armani Sdn Bhd (GASB) to undertake a superstructure project priced at RM135mil.

The principal activities of GASB consist of property development, construction, money lending services, investment holding, trading and service provider.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Vestland said the construction contract is for a nine-storey stratified factory and related facilities located in Selangor.

“The scope of the contract involves the design, approval, construction, completion, testing and commissioning of the superstructure works,” the group said.

It added that the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of Vestland and its subsidiaries.

The contract has a 36-month construction period, commencing on a date to be determined by GASB.
