MUNICH: Volkswagen AG said it planned to set up a venture capital fund, which would initially invest €300mil (US$355mil or RM1.48bil) in decarbonisation projects and start-ups.
“Decarbonisation will make many things more affordable, not more expenstive,” Herbert Diess, chief execofficer of Volkswagen, said in a LinkedIn post, adding that reducing carbon dioxide is possible without sacrificing the standard of living.
