ES Ceramics revenue and profit lifted


The surge in earnings, ES Ceramics said, was “in tandem with the increase in revenue due to high demand of formers”. The prospects for growth in the rubber glove industry are positive, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: ES Ceramics Technology Bhd, a maker of handformers for the rubber glove industry, said earnings in the last quarter jumped on strong demand and higher selling prices.

Net profit for the three-month ended May 31, 2021 soared to RM14.5mil to lift full-year earnings to RM30.2mil. Revenue in the final quarter was RM42.8mil compared with RM8.5mil a year ago.
