AZRB’s founder retires from executive role


“Tan Sri Wan Zaki will stay on as a non-independent non-executive director of AZRB as well as assuming the role of AZRB group adviser effective the same date, ” the construction firm said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd said its founder Tan Sri Wan Zaki Wan Muda has stepped down from his post as executive vice-chairman effective July 1.

The company’s 72-year-old single largest shareholder would remain as a board member.
