KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar today despite the strengthening greenback, supported by the steady crude oil prices and the positive sentiment brought about by the reaffirmation of Malaysia’s sovereign rating.
The US dollar had extended its rebound from yesterday after its sharp corrective pullback on Monday.
