EPF no longer major holder in UWC


A Bursa Malaysia announcement said the EPF had ceased to be a substantial shareholder of UWC after it sold 2.46 million shares recently.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder in semiconductor company UWC Bhd after the fund manager disposed of a block of its shares yesterday.

A Bursa Malaysia announcement said the EPF had ceased to be a substantial shareholder after it sold 2.46 million shares recently.

The fund manager had ceased to be a substantial shareholder from May 27, the announcement said.
