Sunway reports lower net profit in Q1


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Sunway Bhd’s net profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021 (1Q21) fell to RM58.45mil from RM62.4mil posted in the same quarter last year.

Revenue, however, improved 4.7% to RM1.bil from RM971.4mil 4 previously due to higher contributions from most business segments except property development and property investment segments, Sunway said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
