Insights Analytics wins RM12.24mil substation job


PETALING JAYA: Insights Analytics Bhd has secured a contract from Tele Kenyalang Engineering Sdn Bhd to act as sub-contractor for the construction, digitalisation, smart systems integration and external works at the Upper Lanang 33/11 kilovolts substation, in Sibu, Sarawak, worth RM12.24mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the water technology solutions provider said the contract will commence on May 7, 2026, over a period of 16 months and be completed on Sept 6, 2027.

“The project is subject to operational, construction, and regulatory risks. However, these are considered manageable within the ordinary course of business.

“The board of directors does not foresee any exceptional risk factors arising from this project.”

The company said the award is not subject to the approval from the company's shareholders and/or any regulatory authorities.

“The board of directors, having considered all relevant aspects of the project, is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the company.”
