KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has invested RM200mil in a stamping facility at its Tanjung Malim plant, in line with the carmaker’s growth strategy.

Proton said the new facility would allow for the manufacturing of more model lines and would include state-of-the-art tools and systems.

“This new facility is part of Proton’s plan to make the Tanjung Malim facility a world-class manufacturing plant, ” it said in a statement.
