SC adds Red Fort Capital, Sykt Future Pelaburan, SAMKoin to alert list

The Securities Commission has added more unauthorised websites, investment products and companies to its alert list.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission has added more unauthorised websites, investment products and companies to its alert list among which are Red Fort Capital, Syarikat Future Pelaburan, SAMKoin and Xeraya-Capital.

In its recently updated list, it said Red Fort Capital has been carrying on unregulated activities while Syarikat Future Pelaburan has been holding out as dealing in derivatives.

The SC cautioned the public about the potential clone entity of Global Investments Ltd. It said this possible clone was offering high returns up to RM2,250 with a minimum investment of RM500 within 24 hours and it had been carrying on unregulated activities.

SAMKoin has been offering digital currencies and operating a recognised market without authorisation from the SC.

Meanwhile, has been carrying on unregulated activities and it is a possible clone offering high returns for a minimum investment of RM550 within 24 hours. However, Xeraya Capital ( is registered with SC as a venture capital management corporation (VCMC).

As for Insaaph Company Sdn Bhd, the SC said, has been found to be misrepresenting and misusing the SC’s name and logo.

The SC said the list below are of persons who have been carrying on or portraying themselves as carrying on the following regulated activities without a licence from the SC by dealing in securities and derivatives;fund management; advising on corporate finance; investment advice; financial planning; and dealing in private retirement schemes.

On Jan 30, Bank Negara Malaysia added UK Trade Online, Net Trade Global Trading Sdn Bhd, Waheed Ventures and New Tycoon Plus to its Financial Consumer Alert list.

The list consists of companies and websites which are neither authorised nor approved under the relevant laws and regulations administered by Bank Negara.

The central bank said the list was not exhaustive and only serves as a guide to members of the public based on information and queries which it had received. Click below to see the updated list:
