Lion Group to restart flat products steel project


PETALING JAYA: The Lion Group is restarting its flat products steel project to produce hot rolled coil (HRC) in the second quarter of 2021, with an annual production capacity of between 2.5 million and three million tonnes.

In a statement yesterday, the Lion Group said it is also planning to invest in a blast furnace (BF) project, with the first phase involving an investment of RM3bil.
