Trading ideas: MY EG Services, Widad, Yong Tai, Inix, PA Resources


KUALA LUMPUR: MY EG Services, Widad, Yong Tai, Inix and P.A. Resources are among the stocks which could see trading interest on Monday, according to TA Securities Research.

It pointed out MyEG has secured a three-year extension for the e-government services it provides, from May 23,2020 to May 22,2023.

As for Widad, its unit Widad Builders Sdn Bhd secured from the Marine Department Malaysia, a RM21.38mil contract to maintain the Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah and Langkawi’s Kuah passenger jetty and terminal for five years.

JF Apex Research said Yong Tai has entered into a heads of agreement with China-based Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products Co Ltd (SZKT) to work together for the proposed commercialisation of the latter's inactivated Covid-19 vaccine in Malaysia.

Inix plans to purchase a 51% stake of L & S Gloves Sdn Bhd which includes the existing factory inclusive of two existing rubber glove production lines.

As for Top Glove, the EPF continues selling shares of the world's largest glove maker, trimming its stake to 5.72%.

StarBiz reported Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy has emerged as the top shareholder of aluminium extruder P.A. Resources Bhd after acquiring a 10.18% stake in the group.

The former Transport Minister’s wholly-owned vehicle, Interlink Matrix (M) Sdn Bhd, purchased the block of 228.38 million shares from P.A. Resources’ non-independent non-executive chairman Datuk Ng Tong Hai.
