KLK’s Q4 earnings rise by nearly 20%


Its plantation pretax profit rose 52.2% y-o-y to RM192.4mil from RM126.4mil, driven by favourable crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel selling prices, it said in the notes to its financial statements.

PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KLK) saw a nearly 20% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in its bottomline in its fourth quarter ended Sept 30 to RM208.82mil.

Revenue also rose 5.3% y-o-y in the same period to RM4.00bil from RM3.80bil.
