Finance Ministry hopes economic recovery momentum can be maintained


Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, said the economy was seeing improvements from various perspectives and indicators, including lower unemployment rates, rising retail and wholesale index, increased foreign direct investment, and increased productivity in the manufacturing and construction sectors.

PETALING JAYA: The Finance Ministry hopes the momentum of economic recovery would be maintained through Budget 2021, which will be announced on Nov 6.

Its minister, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, said the economy was seeing improvements from various perspectives and indicators, including lower unemployment rates, rising retail and wholesale index, increased foreign direct investment, and increased productivity in the manufacturing and construction sectors.
