Muhammad Ikmal raises stake in Widad to 71.99%

KUALA LUMPUR: Widad Group Bhd's major shareholder Tan Sri Muhammad Ikmal Opat Abdullah has raised his stake to 71.992%.

In a statement Monday, Widad said Muhammad Ikmal through his personal capacity and private entity Widad Business Group Sdn Bhd, has acquired a total of 186 million shares or a 7.579% stake in Widad via a few open-market and off-market transactions on July 16-17.
