SCM Lifescience listed on Kosdaq

On Oct 25,2018, Duopharma Biotech had acquired a 5.8% stake in SCM Lifescience for 5.5 billion won or RM20.24mil.

KUALA LUMPUR: Duopharma Biotech Bhd’s investee company, SCM Lifescience Co Ltd has been listed on Kosdaq, which is a trading board of Korea Exchange in South Korea.

SCM Lifescience specialises in stem cell therapeutics with proprietary platform technology in the field of high-purity isolation and cultivation of mesenchymal stem cells and is currently focusing on autoimmune diseases.

On Oct 25,2018, Duopharma Biotech had acquired a 5.8% stake in SCM Lifescience for 5.5 billion won or RM20.24mil.

“The listing of SCM Lifescience shares on Kosdaq will not have any material effect on the share capital of the company, earnings, net assets and gearing for the financial year ending Dec 31,2020, ” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday. — Bernama
