PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd
(TNB) expects electricity sales to drop this year compared with last year as business activities had to be temporarily halted in the nationwide effort to contain the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
President and CEO Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan said he expected electric consumption to drop by 7% to 15% this year due to slowdown of activity in the commercial sector.
